Information for Parents
At St. Petersburg Collegiate High School, we want your child to succeed inside and outside of the classroom. The faculty and staff see this is as a partnership between ourselves and the parents. Parental input is always welcome and your participation is vital in helping SPCHS create a learning environment where children are appreciated and encouraged to thrive.
On this page, you will find links to a number of parent resources including PTSA information, graduation requirements, and faculty and staff contact information. Should you not find the information you are seeking, please contact Ms. Dessipe at (727) 341-4610 or dessipe.martha@spcollege.edu.
SPCHS regularly contacts parents using ConnectEd. This service allows the school to send phone and email messages directly to the parents of all our students and keep them informed of important dates and events at SPCHS. Please make sure that SPCHS has your correct phone number and email address on file so that you will receive these important updates.
On this page you will also find a link for tutorials on how to use St. Petersburg College's Learning Management System, Angel. Parents can use Angel to help monitor their student's progress in their classes. However, Angel should not be used to contact college professors. If parents need information regarding their student's college courses, please contact Mrs. Betts or Ms. Boyle.
According to Florida State Statute, each charter school's governing board must appoint a representative to facilitate parental involvement, provide access to information, assist parents and others with questions and concerns, and resolve disputes. For St. Petersburg Collegiate High School, the governing board has appointed Ian Call as this representative. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Dr. Call at (727) 341-3521 or at call.ian@spcollege.edu.
If you have any questions about the School Improvement Plan or the School Advisory Council, you can also contact the Co-Chairman of our School Advisory Council and parent, Elizabeth Rickerman. Mrs. Rickerman can be contacted at rickerman.elizabeth@spcollege.edu.
If you have any questions about getting involved in PTSA or getting involved in PTSA, please feel free to contact the president of SPCHS's PTSA, Tracy Elliott at elliot@scf.edu.
