St. Petersburg Collegiate High School allows serious students the opportunity to simultaneously complete the requirements for a high school diploma, earn an Associate in Arts degree from St. Petersburg College, and qualify for the Bright Futures Scholarship program.

St Petersburg Collegiate High School serves students in grades 10 through 12.  The target population is high school students who:

  • Demonstrate ability to perform at the college level
  • Have a maturity level commensurate with college-level work
  • Serious students committed to learning
  • Self-directed and capable of independent study
  • Possess the above traits but require skill development in the Pre-Collegiate Program prior to entering the Collegiate Program

SPCHS offers two program options, though both share a common goal, i.e. to provide an academic environment that helps you complete your high school requirements, the requirements for the A.A. and earn a Bright Futures Scholarship.

The Pre-Collegiate Program emphasizes instruction to prepare students to succeed in college-level courses, and The Collegiate Program includes college-level coursework with the support resources provided by SPCHS and the college.  Each student attending St Petersburg Collegiate High School follows an individualized program designed cooperatively by school personnel and the student with input from parents.
