SPC can meet your professional development needs:

  • Renew your Child Development Associate (CDA or CDAE) certificate.

  • Take the required coursework for your Director’s Credential.

  • Earn an Associate in Science degree in Early Childhood Education. General education courses are offered in the classroom and online. You can take hands-on Child Development courses in a specially equipped early childhood classroom on SPC’s St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus.

  • Through SPC’s University Partnership Center at the college’s Seminole Campus, you can earn a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science with a Concentration in Early Childhood Development from the University of South Florida.
