Program Description:

This certificate program provides study in Wide Area Networks (WANs) with high speed network coverage.

Wide Area Networks (WANs) use transmission facilities and media to connect computers or LANs together across wide geographic locations. As a need for additional bandwidth for voice and data services increase, and with the continued demand for higher speed networks, employers will be looking to the WAN Specialist to provide networking solutions.

These courses in this certificate can be applied to the 64 credit hour Associate in Science Degree in Telecommunications Engineering Technology.
