Madrigalians is a select choral performance ensemble comprised, primarily, of music majors
seeking the satisfaction and gratification of attaining a high level of musical
excellence through the diligent preparation of the best in classic and contemporary
repertoire. Each member has been chosen by audition and selected for his/her vocal
skills, especially superior "sight-reading" ability, as the nature of the Madrigalians'
presentations demand an exceptional diversity of musical styles. The Madrigalians' basic
repertoire is centered around masterworks of vocal chamber music ranging from the early
Renaissance to the late Twentieth-century.
