THE PLANETARIUM AT ST. PETERSBURG COLLEGE

	Planetarium Director and resident astronomer Dr. Craig Joseph hosts free planetarium shows Fridays at 7 and 8:15 p.m. on the following schedule: St. Petersburg College and the Planetarium will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. The Stars of Spring June 26 July 10 July 17 The planetarium will be closed the week of June 15.
The St. Petersburg College Planetarium is a “star theater” that can comfortably seat 47 and accurately simulates the night sky at any time or location on Earth. Weather permitting; the rooftop observatory will be open for telescope viewing after the shows. No reservations are needed. Schools, clubs and other community groups may reserve the planetarium for free special programs by calling 727-341-4320 or 727-341-4306.

The SPC Planetarium is located on the 2nd floor of the Natural Science building (Room 205) on the St. Petersburg/Gibbs campus (69th Street North at 5th Avenue). Campus Map \| Directions to St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus Admission and parking are free of charge. Sorry, but children under the age of 5 cannot be admitted to the planetarium. .
