Student Survey of Instruction (SSI) Labels

Here is the code that is used on the printed SSI results.

Please note, however, that the 97-01 and 97-02 codes have two meanings. We also have some SSI results on file with codes like 96-05. They must be for some session in 96-97.  In regard to getting the print date put on future SSI results to make it simpler for us, we are told that it is too expensive for now.

Here is the way composite results are figured:

LC or Lecture Course

FSI (Faculty/Student Interaction): Items 11, 12, 13, 17
ORG (Organization): Items 1, 3 ,8, 10
PRE (Presentation): Items 14, 15, 16
VAL (Evaluation): Items 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9

NL or Lab Course

FSI (Faculty/Student Interaction): Items 7, 9, 10, 11
ORG (Organization): Items 2, 4
PRE (Presentation): Items 1, 3, 8
VAL (Evaluation): Items 5, 6
