MEET THE COACHES
HEAD COACH
SCOTT WHITE
Coach White brings to St. Petersburg College a
background of competitive volleyball and leadership. Scott was a four-year
starter for the University of Michigan's volleyball team including three
time all conference selections, several all tournament honors, and team
captain. After college, Coach White competed in USA Volleyball and earned
regional MVP awards, National Championship All Rookie Team, 11 regional
championships, and four top 5 finishes at the National Championships. Scott
has played and coached with and against some of the best volleyball players
in the world and is working to bring that competitive spirit to this team. Coach White holds a Bachelor and Master Degrees in Engineering from the
University of Michigan.
ASSISTANT COACH
DR. JACCI WHITE
Coach White brings collegiate playing and coaching experience
to St. Petersburg
College. She was a four-year starter at Rollins College where her
achievements include team MVP awards, multiple all tournament and MVP
awards, athlete of the year awards, and being nationally ranked in several
statistical categories. Jacci was the assistant coach at Rollins in 1992. In addition to her assistant coaching duties, Dr. White is a tenured
mathematics professor at Saint Leo University. Dr. White holds a B.A. from
Rollins College, an M.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara,
and a Doctorate from the University of Central Florida.
