About OSSD
at St. Petersburg College
St. Petersburg College is committed to
assisting students with disabilities reach their full potential in
accordance with post secondary disability laws specifically the
Americans for Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act
of 1973. The College ensures that all facilities, academic
programs and coursework as well as student activities are made
accessible to qualifying students of varying disabilities.
Reasonable accommodations are available to
students who identify themselves as being otherwise qualified for
admission to the college. Each student is responsible for
providing current documentation of his/her disability to the campus
Learning Specialist and requesting appropriate accommodations. The
Learning Specialist will determine the services that students may

shared with anyone without the student's written permission.
