Located inside the library in the Fine Arts building, the Learning Support Commons provides free tutoring services to current SPC students.
Tutors in the Learning Support Commons can help students:
- Understand math homework, understand mistakes on tests, and improve memory of math rules and formulas.
- Understand science classes like Chemistry and Physics.
- Explore the writing process as well as improve grammar and source documentation.
- Navigate computers for CGS courses and general usage for other courses.
In addition to friendly peer tutors, the LSC has many of the textbooks for courses taught on the Tarpon Springs Campus, A&P models, computers with Internet and MyITLab access, handouts, and online resources.
