Adult GED Program at St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus

A joint effort of SPC and Dixie Hollins Adult Education Center.

Location: 6605 Fifth Ave. N. (corner of 66th Street and Fifth Avenue N.), Room AD 123 (Administration building), St. Petersburg

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Monday - Thursday, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Class hours are flexible for students who have work or family responsibilities during those times.


The program includes:
GED test preparation through pre-tests, individualized instruction, and independent study. It is self-paced and performance-based, so students work at a speed that is comfortable for them. Students are encouraged to work closely with SPC advisors and Career Centers to explore career directions.

Getting started:
New students will take a two-and-a-half hour preliminary test to assess the areas in which review is needed. No appointment is needed for this test.  For more information about the class or the procedures you may call the instructor at 727-341-4624 or 727-547-7872.
