Up close and personal

Shawn Williams knows people who care.

He was frustrated with education when he began college. He was at a private college and it not only was expensive but classes were offered at times not convenient to him. He also thought the teachers didn’t care about the students’ needs.

He left the private college and tried a public university, only to find that the institution’s programs in which he wanted to major kept dropping.

His next stop was SPC and he discovered a perfect fit. Through SPC, Williams earned an Associate in Arts degree, and is working on a bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Leadership.

“SPC just has the best communication and the best understanding of their students,” Williams said. “They make everything affordable and convenient for their students. The school and the teachers really do care and they try to work around your schedule.”
