College Credit and Early Entrance Options for High School StudentsSt. Petersburg College is proud to offer many options to motivated high school students who are ready to take college classes. Students can earn their high school diploma and earn college credit at the same time. Best of all - classes and books are free to qualified students. The Dual Enrollment program offers Pinellas County students (in public, private and home schools) the opportunity to take free SPC courses that give them credits toward a high school diploma and a college degree. Dual Enrollment courses are available on SPC campuses and some local high school campuses. The Early College program is a partnership between St. Petersburg College and Pinellas County Schools that offers new and innovative options for highly motivated high school students. Students entering grades 11 and 12 in Pinellas County high schools, as well as private and home-schooled students who meet dual enrollment eligibility standards and reside in Pinellas County, will have the opportunity to attend the Early College Program at St. Petersburg College full time. The Early Admission program offers free college classes to qualified Pinellas County high school students who are entering the 12th grade. These courses also fulfill high school graduation requirements and are available only on SPC Campuses. St. Petersburg Collegiate High School offers an academic environment that ensures the completion of a high school diploma while enabling successful completion of college-level course work.
