CRIME INFORMATION AND STATISTICS

Complying with the Federal Campus Security Act of 1990, the crime statistics listed below are presented so that students and staff are aware of the number of crimes that occur on our campuses annually. SPC crime statistics will be published annually on September 1 for the period August 1 through July 31. However, reporting of any crime committed or any pattern of criminal activity detected that should be made known to the college community to lessen or prevent a similar such crime from occurring will be done in a timely manner. Information on the crime or criminal activity, and preventive measures that can be taken, will be distributed through the Provost or Center Administrator of each campus or the Collegewide Security Supervisor.

Considering that more than 60,000 students pass through our campuses yearly, we feel that SPC compares favorably with colleges nationwide. You can use this information in comparing SPC with other institutions of similar size.
