Aaron Schaedler knows that money isn’t everything. A self-described underachiever in high school, Aaron nonetheless looked forward to going to college and pursuing a lucrative but unspecified career. But when he enrolled in a four-year state university, he found the experience to be a bit disappointing.
Aaron left the big university and enrolled at St. Petersburg College. Right away, he knew he had made the right decision. And working with young people through his church led him to realize that he wanted to pursue a career in education. “I’ve learned that the pursuit of money isn’t everything,” he said. “I’m planning on getting my associate’s in arts degree at SPC, and then going on to the University of South Florida to pursue a bachelor’s degree in education.” SPC’s smaller classes, modern resources and commitment to quality have made all the difference, according to Aaron. “There are endless possibilities here that have allowed me to continue my education and figure out what I should do in the future,” he said.
