 TERRENCE BRETT was appointed to the St. Petersburg College Board of Trustees by Gov. Charlie Crist in May 2008. He is the co-owner of Brett Funeral Home in St. Petersburg. He is past president of the St. Petersburg College Alumni Association and chairman of the Board of Governors of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. He is chairman of the Arts Center of St. Petersburg Board of Trustees and past chairman of the Leadership St. Pete Planning Committee. Brett graduated in 1977 from the Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta and is also a graduate of Leadership St. Pete. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Eckerd College and also earned an associate degree from St. Petersburg Junior College.
