David McKirdy: From the Collection Exhibition

Leepa-Rattner Museum at St. Petersburg College
600 Klosterman Rd. Tarpon Springs, FL 34689

Exhibition is on display from February 3 - May 19, 2019.

A selection of mixed-media works on paper by Tampa artist David McKirdy complements UNEXPECTED: Art by Alternative Means. McKirdy’s background in biology and scientific illustration fuels his inspiration to create abstract works made of elaborate dot patterns. Through painstaking processes, he experiments with a variety of materials to create these interactive works, which engage the viewer through optical illusion.
