St. Petersburg College and Pinellas County Schools have partnered to provide opportunities for students to earn free college credit for Career and Technical Education coursework completed in high school through Academy College Credit.

Academy College Credit aligns high school courses, or sequences of courses, to the curriculum of SPC courses. This process allows qualifying students to advance from PCS courses or programs to the next step in their education without unnecessary repetition in coursework.

Academy College Credit minimum qualifications:

    1. Academic grade B or higher in all specified high school CTE courses
    2. SPC student number

*Some agreements may have additional requirements including, but not limited to, earning specific industry certifications.

Students may request free credits regardless of their selected degree program at SPC. Awarded credits apply to the aligned Associate in Science degree or as electives in the Associate in Arts degree.
