Celebrate your milestone at our Graduation Ceremonies
The College hosts several ceremonies and events offering students, families and friends an opportunity to celebrate your achievements. These events are open to any graduate or degree candidate for the current academic year. You are considered a candidate if you are currently enrolled and your degree has not been certified.
Since these ceremonies are held prior to degrees and certificates being conferred, participation does not imply or suggest you have met all graduation requirements.
Spring Commencement
Traditionally held at the end of Spring term, Commencement is the formal official celebration of the degree or certificate you are to receive. The ceremony is 2 – 2 ½ hours in length depending on the number of participants. Out of respect for all graduates, you and your guests are expected to remain for the duration of the ceremony.
Summer and Fall graduates along with Spring candidates are invited to attend.
Registration
You must register to participate. Login to Titan Hub to access MySPC and click on My Academics and then select Commencement Registration. After registering, event details will be sent to your SPC email.
Venue
Commencement is held in May at Tropicana Field

Graduates and guests will enter through Gate 1. Graduates will be directed to field level seating while guests will sit in the stands.
All attendees must abide by the stadium’s rules and regulations. Helium balloons are strictly prohibited. No one will be allowed entry with helium balloons. Security checks are conducted at time of entry.
Parking
There is a $10 fee per car for parking. Tropicana Field does not accept cash for parking, only credit and debit cards are accepted. Parking attendants at the entrances to all lots will have scanners for credit and debit card payment. Plan to park in Lot 6 or 7. Allow extra time for traffic.
Guests
You may bring as many guests as you want. Tickets are not required. Animals are not allowed in the venue except for service animals.
Guests in wheelchairs or with mobility issues should check Tropicana Field's wheelchair accessible parking and drop-off locations. Special seating is available for anyone in a wheelchair.

In addition to collegewide Commencement, individual programs hold separate graduation events for their students. Check the Graduation Events calendar for all planned activities and deadlines for this term.
Pinning Ceremonies
Nursing and several other health programs hold pinning ceremonies prior to graduation to signify your initiation into the profession and that you are ready to serve our community as a healthcare professional. Contact your academic department for additional information.
Early College & Early Admission Medallion Ceremony
Early College and Early Admission Medallion ceremonies are held on the Friday before the collegewide graduation ceremony. This ceremony recognizes our full-time Early College and Early Admission students’ high school and college achievements, as well as their Associate of Arts degree completion. Each student receives a graduation medallion that includes both the PCS & SPC logos, which are worn the following day during the official SPC graduation ceremony.
