Achieve your academic goals with the Last Mile Scholarship
You may be eligible for the Last Mile Scholarship if you are in your last term before graduation.
Students must:
- Be a Florida resident
- Be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress
- Only classes within your current degree program up to twelve (12) credit hours will be considered.
- Be enrolled in your last term before graduation
- Have at least a 2.0 Program GPA
- Have at least a 67% Completion Ratio
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), complete Verification if selected
- Demonstrate need as a result of the FAFSA OR have a 3.0 Program GPA
- Meet all financial aid eligibility requirements
- No minimum enrollment required
- Classes can be lower division, upper division or a combination of both
Financial Assistance Services will verify eligibility upon completion of the application.
The scholarship will pay for tuition and fees for up to twelve (12) credit hours after all other possible financial aid and scholarships have been applied.
If you meet all eligibility requirements, a Last Mile Scholarship will be added to your financial aid award package with an initial placeholder amount of $0.00. The actual scholarship amount is reviewed and updated two to three times per week. The amount can remain at $0.00, increase, decrease, or be reduced to $0.00 based on changes in your enrollment, whether your classes count toward your current degree program and updates to your financial aid award package.
The Last Mile Scholarship will be awarded for ONE TERM only. If you received the Last Mile Scholarship in a past term, you are considered to have met this requirement and not eligible for further funding.
If you meet the requirements for both Last Mile and Promise scholarships, only the Promise Scholarship will be considered.
