As the college's oldest campus, the St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus opened in 1942 at 6605 Fifth Ave. N. and serves more than 13,000 students each year. The Gibbs Campus is home to the college's music and music industry/recording arts programs and the 310-seat Music Center featuring two Steinway pianos and Heissler pipe organ. The college's first Collegiate High School is located here, along with the Early Admission program and the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold-certified Student Services Building, recognized for its sustainable and cost-saving green building practices.
