Meet Tahsin Noor

The last time Tahsin Noor had performed on a stage was in middle school, when by sheer chance in 2012, Tahsin auditioned for SPC's main stage production of "Fool for Love" and landed a role.

After taking an acting class, Tahsin prepared a monologue to audition at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, recently featured in Backstage magazine as one of the top five current schools for Tony winners. Much to his delight, he was the first Bangladeshi to be accepted into MMC's most competitive program, the B.F.A. in Acting, which accepts 50 students out of nearly 1,000 applicants in five cities across the United States.

"I don't think I would have been able to be here and have the chance to hone this amazing craft if it hadn't been for everything I learned at SPC," Tahsin said.
