Benefits update
The Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) stipend for Chapter 33 students requires that you meet certain academic enrollment requirements. Please contact your Veterans Services Specialist to make sure you meet these requirements and are eligible for all your benefits.
Rate of Pursuit and the Housing Allowance:
U.S. In-Residence: The applicable Basic Allowance for Housing rate will be multiplied by the rate of pursuit rounded to the nearest multiple of 10. See your home campus Veterans Services Specialist for assistance in calculating.
Effective Oct. 1, 2011: Individuals only enrolled in distance learning courses will be eligible for a monthly housing allowance equal to 50% of the national average of all Basic Allowances for Housing. Rates will be multiplied by the rate of pursuit rounded to the nearest multiple of 10.
