Student Parking on SPC Campuses
Parking for students is free at SPC as long as you park in spaces reserved for students, designated with white lines. Decals are required for faculty and staff spaces and a hangtag is required to park in the SPC Parking Garage in downtown St. Petersburg.
Parking fines will be given to owners of vehicles illegally parked in spaces designated for handicapped, visitors, hybrid vehicles, motorcycles or faculty/staff. Parking spaces are assigned by color code as follows:
- Yellow lined spaces: faculty and staff
- White lined spaces: student parking
- Green lined spaces: visitor parking
- Blue lined spaces: handicapped parking
The speed limit on campus is 10 miles per hour and speeders may be ticketed. Any individual who operates a vehicle in a manner that might endanger the life and/or property of another while on campus is subject to a fine and/or disciplinary action. If any vehicle is to be left overnight on campus for any reason, campus security should be notified immediately at 727-791-2560. SPC assumes no responsibility or liability for theft or damages occurring to vehicles or other personal property while on college property.
Parking at SPC Downtown
SPC students taking classes at the Downtown Center have the option of purchasing a hangtag to park in the SPC Parking Garage, locating appropriate street parking, or parking in the Sundial Parking Garage. The cost of the hangtag for SPC's garage is:
- $50 per session (fall and spring)
- $25 (summer)
- $25 for evening only students
Hangtags may be purchased at the SPC Downtown Center. A hangtag is required to park in the garage beginning the first day of classes.
Note: Parking spaces are limited and hangtags are sold on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
Parking Garage hours:
Monday - Thursday: 6:30 a.m.-10 p.m.
Friday: 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
