Deep Dabhi
Veterans Services Student Support Advisor

Deep Dabhi joined SPC Veterans Services in August 2025. He spent seven years in the U.S. Army as an enlisted Infantry Mortarman. Born in India and raised in Jacksonville, Florida after moving to the United States at the age of two. Deep holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of West Florida. His professional mission is rooted in a passion for empowering veterans through education, ensuring they have access to the resources and guidance necessary for a successful transition to civilian life. Outside of work, Deep is a proud husband, a father to a baby daughter, and a dedicated dog dad.

Trevor McGilvrey
Veterans Services Student Support Advisor

Trevor McGilvrey joined SPC Veteran Services in August 2025 after serving as a radioman aboard a U.S. Navy submarine. Originally from Cocoa Beach, Florida, he earned his Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University. Trevor previously served as a Veterans Service Officer for the State of Maine and later transitioned into business development and emerging technologies. A dedicated husband and father, Trevor shares his home with his wife Marissa, his son Mason, two Dutch Shepherds, and a tabby cat. He is excited to support SPC’s veteran student population by combining his military experience and public service background.

Sarah Blackwood
Sarah joined SPC Veteran's Services in February of 2022. Previously before starting her job with us, she worked for an airline and developed skills in organizational and time management, as well as, deescalating stressful situations. Born and raised in Florida to a military officer, Sarah loves working with veterans and their family members on strengthening their education future. Sarah graduated from Saint Leo University in Florida and earned her MA in Conflict Resolution and Public Policy from the University of Denver in Colorado.

David Humpel

David joined SPC Veteran Services in June 2022. A retired Naval Nuclear Officer, he spent his first 10 years in the enlisted ranks and brings a unique and relatable perspective to the position. He is passionate about educating his veteran brothers and sisters on all the services available in return for their sacrifice to our great nation.
