CONSTITUTION DAY

Constitution Day is an important part of America’s cultural heritage and is celebrated each year. On this day, we commemorate the world’s oldest written constitution signed on September 17, 1787.

SPC celebrates Constitution Day each year through a variety of programs and events.

2025 Campus Event

  • Spirit of Compromise Forum at Tarpon Springs campus
  • Preamble Party at St. Petersburg/Gibbs campus with League of Women Voters & Supervisor of Elections
  • Supporting Veteran Services department for their Flag Planting Event at Seminole campus
  • Constitution Booklets handed out and Red/White/Blue Cake and partnership with Dr. Douglas Rivero for the Oratorical Contest at Seminole campus
  • Red, White and Blue Cupcakes and flag planting at HEC campus
  • Constitution Day Booklets at HEC campus
  • Constitution Day/Flags for our Future planting at Clearwater campus
  • Constitution Day Preamble Party with student presentations, spoken word, and performance art at Downtown campus
  • Constitution Day Preamble Party at Midtown campus
