Health Programs Admissions

The Health Science Associate in Science degree, Certificate and Applied Technology Diploma programs at SPC no longer use waiting lists to determine who is admitted. Applications are accepted during specific dates. As of Aug. 2, 2011, applications for limited enrollment health programs are based on selection criteria.

Each program has separate admissions requirements and application dates. Please check the individual program or visit the Advising Office at the Caruth Health Education Center for more information.

The first steps to applying for SPC's Health Programs are:

• Complete the online college application and pay the $40 fee.
• Submit all official high school, GED and previous college transcripts.
• Take the College Placement Test and complete all college preparatory work. Applicants who have earned college credits in mathematics, composition and/or reading may be waived from the placement test.
• Complete the new student orientation.
• Submit the Health Programs Application.

You must complete your application with the required documentation by the deadline to be considered for admission. You are notified of your admission status through your Microsoft Live student e-mail account.
