Poetry Reading with Lola Haskins

Please join us for a poetry reading that bridges literature and sciences! The poems in Lola Haskin's Like Zeroes, Like Pearls are all about insects!  Like Zeroes, Like Pearls uses poetry to bring to life the lives of insects and their connection to human beings. She lists among her bibliography such biology luminaries such as E.O Wilson and Sue Hubbell.  

The reading will be Wednesday, March 11th, 11:30AM-1PM in the Chris Sprowls Workforce Hub.  Tim and Shawn at the Hub have promised 3D printed insects and we will have light refreshments, book giveways, and books available for purchase.
