Rachel Nohlgren Joins SPC Foundation Board, Bringing Expertise in Financial Planning and Community Leadership

Rachel Nohlgren is a seasoned financial planner with nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career with Raymond James' rotational training program for college graduates and later joined Mustard Seed Advisors of Raymond James in 2011, bringing valuable retirement planning insights from her previous role. In 2017, Rachel became a partner as part of the long-term succession plan for the team, and in 2021, she took on the role of team lead.
Rachel specializes in retirement income planning, tax planning, and navigating benefits such as Social Security, Medicare, and long-term care. She manages investments to help generate a sustainable income stream and assists clients in making key decisions that impact their next chapter. Rachel is known for her empathetic approach, helping clients navigate life transitions and facilitating family meetings, succession plans, and conversations across generations.
Rachel holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and graduated from Eckerd College with degrees in both Economics and Spanish. She is fluent in Spanish. Additionally, Rachel has past Board experience with YWCA of Tampa Bay from 2014 to 2017.
A native of St. Petersburg, Rachel enjoys spending her leisure time biking, dancing Flamenco, Kizomba, and Latin styles, paddle-boarding, listening to live music, and spending time with her family, especially her son, Declan.
