Pursuant to Florida State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.0240, Minimum Standards for Admission to Florida College System Institutions, all applicants must attest that they are either a U.S. citizen or lawfully present in the United States as part of the admissions process and provide documentation verifying that status before enrollment.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide valid documentation verifying their current U.S. legal status as part of the admissions review process.

To complete this requirement, submit supporting documentation, such as:

  • U.S. birth certificate
  • U.S. passport or passport card
  • Certificate of Naturalization (N-550/N-570)
  • Certificate of Citizenship (N-560/N-561)
  • Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)

  • Form I-94 or other approved immigration documentation verifying lawful presence
  • REAL ID-compliant driver's license or identification card issued by any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or a U.S. territory (must display the REAL ID star marking)

To avoid delays in enrollment, submit your documentation as soon as possible after applying.
