Early Childhood Education Programs

Our programs in early childhood education follow a pathway to prepare you to work effectively with early learners (birth to age 4) and their families in both the public and private sectors.

We offer an Infant and Toddler Specialization Certificate and a Preschool Specialization Certificate. Completing these certificates can lead to job as a preschool teacher.

Continue with our Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies with a specialization in Preschool Education if you want to pursue graduate studies or work as a trainer, evaluator, policy analyst, researcher or fundraiser in a variety of settings. SPC can also meet your professional development needs for early childhood credentials.

Our renewed Prekindergarten/Primary Education (age 3 through grade 3) Bachelor of Science Degree will prepare you to teach ages 3 through grade 3 and allows graduates to earn teacher certification in PreK/Primary as well as endorsements in ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) and Reading.
