Continuing your Degree: Statewide Articulation Agreement
Florida's higher education system is designed for students to successfully pursue a bachelor's degree by first earning an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree at a Florida College System institution and then transferring to a four-year institution. Through this 2+2 program, if you earn your A.A. at a Florida college you are guaranteed a chance to earn a bachelor's degree at a state university or Florida college offering four-year degrees.
Florida's efforts and policies for smoothly transitioning from two-year to four-year college or university programs are outlined in the Statewide Articulation Agreement, general education requirements, common prerequisites, Statewide Course Numbering System and the Florida Virtual Campus (FLVC).
